Our partnership with MillerKnoll started with their need to support their dealers increase sales of their furniture. The dealers were tasked and encouraged to hold ‘dealer events’ where local developers, construction firms and architects would be invited to discuss large procurement and purchasing deals.
As each event would be held in different locations, appealing to different sectors and requirements, Millerknoll asked us to create a way of branding a space (whether a showroom or church) that was impactful and aligned with the quality of the high-end furniture. In addition to this, every event needed way finders to guide people through the space to specific areas to discuss their requirements with the MillerKnoll team.
The next consideration was logistical, as elements had to be lightweight to minimise travel costs throughout the UK and Europe, quick to install due to event timings, storable, reusable to minimise wastage and maximise usage.
The result was simple but fiendishly clever, with Brief2Build creating the solution, building the displays, printing the 100% recyclable fabric graphics, managing installation, dismantle, logistics and storing the assets in its warehouse. What also stands out for this project is that zero waste is created at each event as everything is reusable or totally recyclable.
